Who we are
This website is operated by Tenax Solar Sdn Bhd (200101023975 (559733-W)), No. 11 & 13, Jalan 1/9, Bandar Teknologi Kajang, 43500 Semenyih, Selangor. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean Tenax Solar Sdn Bhd.
What we collect
- When you request an assessment: your name, phone number, email address, property type, approximate electricity bill and electricity supply type.
- When you make a referral: your contact details, and the name, phone number, property type and state of the person you refer.
- When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone: the details you choose to share, such as electricity bills, photos of your roof or site information.
- When you become a customer: the information needed to design, apply for, install and maintain your system, including details required by SEDA Malaysia, TNB and the Energy Commission.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a site assessment.
- To prepare proposals and quotations.
- To submit applications and coordinate approvals on your behalf, if you engage us.
- To run the referral programme, including contacting the people referred to us and paying rewards.
- To provide after-sales service, warranty support and maintenance.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
- Government agencies and utilities where required for your project, such as SEDA Malaysia, Tenaga Nasional Berhad and the Energy Commission.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and form-handling providers, and installation partners working on your project. They may only use your data to provide services to us.
- Authorities, where we are required by law.
Referrals
If you refer someone, you confirm that they have agreed to be contacted by Tenax Solar. We will use their details only to contact them about solar and to administer the referral.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including any warranty period and the periods required by law, and then delete or anonymise it.
How we protect it
We take reasonable practical steps to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, change or disclosure, and limit access to staff and partners who need it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal data, or withdraw your consent to its use, by emailing info@tenaxsolar.com.my. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue to provide some services. Providing your personal data is voluntary, but without it we may not be able to respond to your enquiry.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this notice.
